What is your shipping policy for mountain gear?
We offer standard and expedited shipping across the country. Orders over $150 qualify for free ground shipping, while international rates are calculated at checkout based on weight and destination.
How do I ensure I am ordering the correct size?
Each product page includes a detailed sizing chart tailored to technical fit. Since alpine gear often requires layering, we recommend measuring over your base layers for the most accurate fit.
What is your return policy for worn items?
We accept returns on all items in new, unworn condition with tags attached within 30 days of purchase. For safety reasons, technical climbing hardware and load-bearing gear cannot be returned once opened.
Are Blackbird Mountain Guides products covered by a warranty?
Yes, all our branded apparel and equipment come with a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. If your gear fails due to a production flaw, we will repair or replace it free of charge.
How should I care for my waterproof technical shells?
To maintain the integrity of the DWR coating and breathable membranes, we recommend machine washing with a specialized technical fabric cleaner and tumble drying on low heat to reactivate the water repellency.
Do you offer professional or guide discounts?
